Twin Realty Investment Company was founded with family at its core, named after the founder’s twin daughters. The name not only reflects the special bond between them but also ties into the company’s roots in the Twin Cities. What began as a small, family-operated business has remained true to its origins, steadily growing alongside the family it represents.
Now owned and operated by the founder’s granddaughter, Kara Frank, Twin Realty specializes in multifamily and commercial real estate investment and management. We are deeply invested in the communities we serve, committed to fostering growth and creating value for both our tenants and the neighborhoods we work in. We continue to honor the values of integrity, hard work, and personalized service that have shaped our approach from the very beginning.
Meet The Team
Kara Frank
Kara Frank, who owns Twin Realty, is a seasoned and reputable real estate professional with over 15 years of experience in real estate ownership, management and brokerage. Kara prides herself on delivering superior personal attention, flexibility and customization to her clients. Kara combines her work of managing a successful portfolio of multifamily and commercial properties with strategic partnerships across industry professionals that provide flexible commercial real estate services. When she's not at work, Kara spends her time with her husband and two active children, running around the lakes and taking bike rides on one of Minneapolis' amazing trails.
Mike Hartman
Mike Hartman leads the commercial real estate brokerage division at Twin Realty. Mike primarily works on behalf of tenants and buyers, with an emphasis on industrial and office space. Mike works diligently on behalf of his clients regarding: site selection, lease and purchase negotiation, deal administration, vendor recommendations and strategic advisory services. With over 10 years’ experience in CRE brokerage, Mike consistently receives high marks from both clients and peers for his work ethic, integrity, hyper-communicative approach, and consistent ability to deliver favorable results. Mike received his undergraduate degree from University of Minnesota and his law degree from the University of Denver. When away from work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, exploring Twin Cities to-dos, and giving back to the community.
Tucker Zangs
Tucker Zangs is a multifamily property management professional with over five years of hands on experience in maintenance operations, leasing, and tenant relations. He brings a practical, solutions oriented approach with a strong focus on efficiency, resident satisfaction, and asset performance. Known for his strong work ethic and people first mindset, he excels at building relationships and keeping properties running smoothly. In his free time, Tucker enjoys hunting and fishing with friends.

Jenny Stewart
Jenny Stewart, Operations Manager at Twin Realty, has over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate accounting. Along with the day-today accounting for each property, Jenny works on maintaining cash flows, developing budgets as well as annual tax preparation. When she is not working, Jenny enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying their lake home.
